Pure are gradually setting up offices around the world. They plan to open up in Isreal in 2011. A list of their International offices and expansion plans can be found here.

Yes, There are several John Lewis stores in London. There is one at the Brent Cross Shopping Centre at Prince Charles Drive London. Telephone +44(0)20 8202 6535, as well as the branch at 278-306 Oxford Street Westminster, Telephone +44(0)20 7629 7711. Possibly you could contact a store and reserve a radio for your visit.
A quick Google will show several stores in London, so you might find one near to where you are to visit.

The John Lewis website shows the Pure products that they stock.

You could try Googling for supply. Also, are you sure it is what you want? They are expensive, and nearly every user review has been quite negative.

Also, the screen response is said to be very poor, making the device very bad value for money until upgraded.

Are you sure? Availability at johnlewis.com is different from in-store availability - for example the Cambridge John Lewis has them in stock. Worth a call to the Oxford Street or Brent Cross branches if you haven't spoken to them already.
