Re: BBC Listen again/podcasts incorrect listings

The cause of the podcast problem was an "equipment failure" at vTuner, see copy of their e-mail to me received today "Hello, We had an equipment failure but problem has been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience." Why should vTuner affect Frontier Silicon radios? How many...

Re: BBC Listen again/podcasts incorrect listings

My favourite podcasts are working but I'm still blaming the BBC because my Magicbox (Receiva) wasn't working either. If you are a long time Reciva user, you will have experienced this as a regular problem with BBC content updating, going back to the beginning of Internet streaming. BBC continually ...

Re: BBC Listen again/podcasts incorrect listings

All BBC Listen Again episodes that I checked are up to date in the Reciva Database, which could well explain no complaints elsewhere. Seems it's Frontier's backside that needs a kick.

Re: Stream83i Constant Buffering.

I have had my 83i for years and it runs 24/7. FM during the day and either network or internet streaming overnight. For the last few weeks I have had certain stations that drop and take about a minute to buffer up again. This seems to be happening regularly about every half hour. One effected statio...

Re: New internet radio models from Roberts.

I have just bought a brand new £300 'top of the range' Stream 63i, fully expecting it to display artist and song title metadata, as per the much cheaper Stream 205, and Stream 83i models...and it DOESN'T!! Checked for firmware upgrades and none available, so it appears this 'flagship' model has had...

Re: AUX SPEAKER

I would have thought the radio worked when dispatched. The Early Flows had a habit of the of the connector popping off the display during transit. Though this was due to a heavy ferrite ring on the display cable that was repositioned on later models, it may be worth popping the back off to check the...

Re: AUX SPEAKER

The only way to be sure it is not picking up network data is to shut your router down, then check on FM and DAB, as the Wi-Fi is still present regardless of mode the radio is set to. Also, if you have a Chargepak fitted, try removing it as they have caused data pickup in the past.
